after setting up the nativity, i grabbed ava to show her the scene of the manger, thinking it'd be a good time to show and teach her a bit of the christmas story. she immediately pointed to one of the wise man and said, "look mommy, it's like aladdin!"

emmi was looking at one of our nativities the other day. she was getting extra friendly with the goat whose base is oval shaped grass. she told me the goat was on a surfboard.
she is obsessed with the movie surfs up so of course it would be a surfboard.
