it rained all day yesterday.
i am always in better spirits when it's cold and rainy outside. some might call the weather dreary, but i call it lovely. it's amazing how the difference in weather and a new umbrella can turn a lazy afternoon into lots of fun. we soaked it all up and even topped off the evening with yummy bread and sar's* potato soup to warm us up.
the rain has since slowed down, but ava dear still insists on bringing her umbrella with her any time we head out anywhere, just in case it rains. even going against superstitions and popping it up indoors... just in case the roof leaks.
*i don't care if she got it from another blog, i like to call it sarah's soup. and the cream of celery swap does the trick.

i'm just glad to see that ava will stoop to ariel's level. i heard she's a bit of a cinderella snob. but aren't we all
if she'd had a cinderella one to choose from she would've chosen that one, but alas it was only ariel and dora. and actually, she chose dora first, until i pointed out the ariel one.
don't tell cinderella, she'll get all jealous and stuff, you know how princesses are.
I love the pointed toe pose. so chic.
