first off, i'd like to introduce you to the newest member of our family... jack brian.
he was born last tuesday to my sister and brother-in-law, but whenever i saw him i kept forgetting to whip out my camera and snap some shots of him, so his introduction is a little late.
friday was dinner and hanging with friends, while my husband stayed home with ava and cleaned the house.... i'm a bad wife.
since the weather is cooling off, saturday we decided to head to the zoo. ava loved it and enjoyed putting good use to her newly learned animal signs.
it was so fun to get out as a family and enjoy a day at the zoo.
her favorite animals were the squirrel monkeys and the giant tortoises.
wow. i have a triple chin. sad.
before we left we treated ava to a fun ride on the carousel. she was so scared of all the animals and refused to sit on one, so she and bryce ended up on the lame bench. i laughed every time they turned the bend sitting on the boring bench.
ava didn't enjoy the ride very much, in fact you can see her signing "all done" in the following picture.
sunday was church and then off to my sister's to see baby jack and spend time with the fam. it was a fun, busy weekend. we were both spent by the end of it all.

The picture of Ava looking at Bryce is so sweet you can just see she loves her Daddy.
Ava and I can now be best buds. I love the giant tortoises the best too.
So, I saw your comment about your costumes being better in your head than real life, and I became afraid that we have identical costumes.
Sounds fun, good parents taking Ava to the Zoo, thanks for coming on Monday, Brady loved it. When we were putting him to bed Brady was asking what everybody dressed up like and he named off everbody at the party and what they were, even Ava!
what a fun weekend! i love the picture with ava smiling at bryce, so sweet. honey, im right there with you on the triple chin but i think mine is way bigger! you look great! ready for #2 yet?
i wanna go to the zoo. i have to find a time to take owie. he'll love it.

The picture that Ava is looking at her dad is a prize picture she will want to keep forever and Bryce will remember that in 20 years when Ava meets the man of her dreams.
