girls camp: day three

our third day was spent rehearsing our skit and coming up with commercial skits to perform between performances that were to be done by every ward.

after rehearsing and lunch we all had a turn trying out the flying squirrel.

you are strapped into a harness then hooked onto a rope which is attached to a pulley high above on another rope. the other side drops down and attaches to an atv. the person runs forward while the atv drives off in the other direction, yanking the person high into the air.

we had a few girls who were afraid of heights, but after some encouragement and reassuring words, they got up the courage to try it.  every single one of them tried it out... i was so proud of them, especially the ones who at one point were crying due to their fear.  after trying it once, they overcame their fear and with huge smiles even went again two and three times over.

that night each ward performed their skits.  the stake staff kicked it off with a skit of our own.
the night ended with a little performance done by our own ycl's.  i wish i could've captured more of it on video.  everybody was rolling with laughter!
