tiny dancer

a few weeks ago, after signing ava up for her very first dance class, we headed to the store to get some new dance shoes and clothing, too. we came home and i had ava try on her new stuff for size. the moment her little self was dressed in all her new dance stuff, her disposition changed. you could sense her excitement and beauty. her moves became more gentle, her voice softer and sweeter. you could tell that she felt on top of the world.

her first class was last wednesday and you could feel nothing but excitement in the air as she got ready to go.

she stepped into the "classroom" and got right down to business. following and listening to her dance instructor and having a great time. she was right in her element.

afterwards, i asked her if she liked her class. she replied with a huge grin and a big nod, "i had fun."

mission accomplished.
