ha ha... big joke. actually, as i had mentioned before, bryce got a new job. what does he do? he chauffers rich people around town. he drives luxury sedans and suvs, limos, and luxury buses. today he was rollin' in this escalade. he had an hour between one of his stops which just so happened to be by our house. so he stopped in for a quick visit and dinner before taking off again. here he is reluctantly posing for me...
this is actually such a great job for him as he is in school. it pays well and is super flexible. however, because bryce wanted to make up for the time that he wasn't working he's been trying to work as many hours as possible, especially last week since it was spring break. on friday and saturday he worked from 6:30am-10:30pm! i was miserably lonely all weekend! lucky for me i have friends and family to keep me company.
on friday, my parents invited me out to eat with them, which was great... i needed to get out of the house and i had no desire to cook. by the time we were finished eating it was already way past ava's bedtime, but she was being such a good little girl! i came home, got her ready for bed and tucked her in. when bryce came home, since he wasn't able to see ava all day, he snuck in her room to sneak a peek at her while she was sleeping.
saturday, was extra lonely because i had only seen bryce for an hour the day before... i decided i would try and keep myself busy all day with errands and housework to help the day go by more quickly. after running to target and the store for some milk, my friend lindsay called me to pick out some baby ava designs stuff for a shower she was going to. i told her to come on over. by the time she came by, i had hit a wall in my big cleaning day. i had folded some laundry and that was it. my plan for cleaning my whole house was hindered by my sudden undesire to do anything. i told her that i needed a pick me up. i had mentioned to her before that i was getting tired of my ugly family room and needed to do something. so after the baby shower she came back over with lots of home decorating magazines! we spent the next few hours flipping through magazines and talking. it was so nice to have some fun company. by the time she left, it was already ava's bedtime... the afternoon just flew by! poor bryce hadn't seen ava (awake) since thursday and was still unable to see her until sunday!
today bryce didn't have to go into work until noon, but he won't be home until 11-11:30. besides the crazy long days lately, the one thing that i dislike about this new job is that he doesn't know what his day is going to be like until the day before, which is terrible when you're a person who likes to have things planned out in advance, like myself. oh well, at least my husband isn't bothered by it. i can't wait until he comes home!

That's so funny, because that's my exact job. I have to dress the exact same way. He got to start so fast! I had to do 2 weekends of training before I could start, and they haven't even called for me to come work yet. haha. It's so crazy that Bryce and I have had the same jobs at the same time for the last like 2 years.

I totally know how those days are. I barely see Ryan and when we do he trying to relax since school is so exhausting. I hope you can get through it all. Too bad we don't live next to each other. Otherwise, we could do mommy things together :)

That sounds like a pretty cool job, other than the hours. If your lonely, I'm home a lot.
