lunch, dinner, bobas and dinner...

this week has been fun-filled! tuesday, i met up with kayleen for lunch to discuss plans for our next boutique party. we ate at this new restaurant on main street... posh nosh. i wasn't too phased with it, but i'm willing to give it another shot since i have heard such great things about it from many other people, i'll just order something different. ava loved her spinach and feta pizza, she went to town on both slices. after lunch, kay and i "strolled" down main street, checked out a few shops and finished discussing boutique plans, while ava and owen entertained each other. we're hoping to have something planned for either the end of this month or early may.
kayleen and i are always on the same page with everything it's so crazy. for example... last sunday i was getting ready and i started thinking that it would be fun to get together with this group of girlfriends for dinner since the only time we usually get together like that is when we're all together with our husbands. a couple of hours later, i checked my myspace and there was a message from kayleen saying that she thought it'd be fun if we all got together for dinner sometime this week. it's so weird. it's great that we can both be on the same page and still be so different. anyways....

wednesday, was errands, visiting teaching and dinner with the girls. we ended up eating at mimi's cafe. (please excuse my facial expression in this first picture... we set up two cameras on timers at the same time and i got stressed out 'cause i didn't know which one to look at first.)

after dinner we headed over to "the street", an asian juice bar. they are known for their smoothies with bobas. bobas are these strange gelatin-like 1/2 inch balls at the bottom of the smoothie. they took a little getting used to, i'm not sure if mandy or sarah were very fond of them...

thursday i spent the day with my cousin felicia who was on spring break visiting from colorado with her family. she came over and after ava's nap we hit up chipotle for lunch then headed to old navy. i went looking for a swim suit for ava but was disappointed with their selection. the hunt continues... that night we had my whole family over for dinner. i was too busy chasing ava and being a host that i didn't have a chance to snap any pictures. we had a great time together and had fun visiting with each other.

have you tried oldnavy.com? it's a committment, and you have to pay like $5 shipping, but they had some really cute suits on sale when I looked before spring break.
