i can't keep up

this girl is growing faster than i can handle. even when i was pregnant she was growing quicker than i was ready for her to. i completely forgot to mention in my november recap that she offically hit the halfway mark to a year, a whole six months old. why don't babies keep a little longer?

she's sitting up like a champ. within a day of attempting her first sit-up she was completely independent and was able to hold herself up with no help. she started "solids" and she ate from the spoon like she'd been doing it her whole life.

i had to post this pic, her face cracks me up.

she's wiggly and squirmy, trying to get up on her knees. and as always, even despite her discomfort from her repeated ear infections she is such a happy little bug, smiling and laughing for us whenever we need it. bryce and i are scared to have another baby after being spoiled with such an angel baby.

she loves her big sister and the feeling is mutual. first thing ava wants when emaline wakes up is to hold her. sisters are such a wonderful gift, and i love to watch their relationship form and grow.

happy half year, baby em...
sorry it took me two weeks to document it.

Ah, I just love her and all of her hair. I can't believe she's already that old. Wow. Seems like yesterday she was born (I'm sure even more so for you!). She is so adorable.
