we all got sick, even bryce (which is rare)... so the blogging slacked, again. sorry. we're all better now, even though we all still sound gross and sick.
here's a rundown of our past two weeks...
emaline wore her first official ponytail. she's worn one in a clip before, but never with an actual rubberband... i made her cry.
ava went to a movie theater for the first time with her cousin colin. they saw bolt and she sat still in her seat almost the entire time with big eyes and her jaw wide open.... i'm sure the popcorn and candy i kept handing her helped, too.

we finally got a much needed new camera, it only took us almost a year to finally buy one.
i prepared and cooked my very first turkey, and it actually turned out and was quite juicy, too, thanks to the awesome oven bags created by reynolds.
and for the very first time in our marriage, we ate only one thanksgiving dinner. it was so nice to not bounce back and forth between our families like a ping pong ball.
oh yeah, and i might've gone and seen the twilight movie, twice. it's supposed to be a comedy, right? loved it for the teenage flick that it was. sar, i was laughing uncontrollably the first time billy wheeled onto the scene, i kept imagining you in a headdress.

o my gosh... i saw it too.
i could not stop laughing. haha. it was kind of (not kind of, ABSOLUTELY) ridiculous. my favorite is when he was in the sunlight. it looked like he had sawdust on him. and when he climbed up that tree with her on his back... i was out of control on that part.
i had to see it though. and i know i'll go to the other ones too.
me and my sister are still trying to think of a replacement for edward. no luck yet. i think my edward is cody... so maybe that's why.
Thank you... This is the highlight of my dreaded day at the office.
k- love the bags to. why don't our moms discover them? my mom won't give up the traditional way and it so doesn't stack up against my bagged turkey.hers is still dry.
brynly looked like a fat little eskimo like emaline too- i attempted the ponytail for her 3 month pics- she also cried. i still kept it in though.
twilight- really? two times.
avas first movie- sweet. cost ya $30 huh? thats why i send them with the grandparents.
hahahahah...
sar. wheelchair. headdress...hahahah
good times.
too good.
check that little pony. so cute. i wanna squish her cheeks.
Sorry you guys have been sick , glad that you had a good Thanksgiving, not bouncing back and forth!
First of all, the girls are getting so big! I feel like we haven't seen each other in forever.
Second, I am SO PROUD of you for doing your own Thanksgiving Turkey, it seems so daunting to me (so we went to Tucson & let my mom do all the hard work:)
Third (and lastly), ok, so it wasn't just me, the movie was a little full of cheese right???? I still want to go again(and have Adam with me) because maybe it really is a good movie and I was just grumpy when I saw it, I still want to give it a chance for some reason....although, i'm a little afraid Adam will laugh at me after he see's it with me. I can just hear him "This is the book you stayed up all night reading...ahhhaaaahaaaa" (i don't know if the movie is worth the mocking?)
miss you guys, hope all is well.
i'm glad you were sitting right next to me during the movie...it made it all the more enjoyable.
i have to say that i thought the book was much cheesier than the movie...i'm being serious. actually i really want to see it again :)
that turkey looks soooo yummy...and i don't even like turkey. good job, diana!
thanks for the fun recap!
First off Congratulations on the turkey, so proud of you! And as for Twilight I loved the movie but of course there were things they could have done a lot better. Hopefully they will just keep getting better and better. Oh and I love the pic of Ava with her sunglasses on. The cutest pic ever!
