easter bunny

it's been a busy week and i'm getting behind on laundry, and i hate getting behind on laundry.  but between getting ready for easter and planning my lesson for sunday, i'm having a hard time keeping up.  looks like i'm gonna have to do some catch up next week.

we were at the mall last saturday when we passed by the easter bunny set up.  i forgot that they even did that.  we walked by the long line, waved at the easter bunny and went on our way.  but on our way out, when we passed the furry fellow again we noticed that there was no one in line.  nobody.  so we decided to let ava go sit on his lap for a little [free] visit.  after a minute or so, we let emaline sit on his lap.  so there the girls were sitting on the bunny's knees happy as can be, while their proud [cheap] parents smiled back.

but then it got awkward.

the bunny doesn't talk to the kids like santa does so there was really no purpose for the visit unless they took a picture.  ava kept looking at him waiting for him to say something and emaline kept reaching up trying to grab hold of his glasses.  the awkwardness got to me, so i gave in and bought the cheesy [over-priced] 4x6 picture.

at least the girls posed well.

that happened to us with the santa this year. but they gotta have one or two of these things in their childhood right? it's like a given.

How funny! I guess that would be pretty awkward. They look so cute though.

Your girls are so cute Diana. And again, I LOVE your haircut and you looked stunning at church today. AND as always, you inspire me with the lessons you teach. You never have anything to be nervous about. You are such a great example

Bryce is so talented. There wasn't a dry eye in RS today.

hahaha... this one made me laugh. that is a creepy looking easter bunny. i don't get it, santa claus = scary, mute easter bunny with glasses = ok.

this was funny. and why malls should be avoided. i'm sad i missed your lesson, elsie falls asleep on the floor in nursery and of course, wakes up crying when i rescue her. did you spend $700 on photoshop- just to mess with Bryce- love it? i hear you can get a student discount for like $150- I'm sure you can find a student somewhere.
