note to self
when getting family pictures taken:
- feed your hungry, crying child first.
- avoid scheduling pictures during what should be nap time.
- super glue your child's hair straight back and out of her face.
otherwise every picture will turn out like this:

she's still in time-out for ruining our family pictures.
(she did, at least, make things interesting for us, and even at her worst i still think she manages to be cute. i just want to pick her up and squeeze that bad mood out of her.)
good thing our dear friend kayleen, is talented enough to make us look good in at least some of the pics.
our christmas card is finished and only needs to be printed and mailed out. it'll make an appearance here shortly.
i know you all can't wait.

if emaline's hair wasn't in her face in every pic, then you'd have a hard time recognizing her when you look back at them 20 years from now. it's kinda who she is. which is kinda awesome. i was really hoping you'd use the one where she fell back crying and you're laughing at her.
