ava and i are headed to colorado on vacation! we're very excited to see our family and visit with everyone. it should be a wonderful vacation. i'm so sad to leave bryce, though. my poor husband has to bring home the bacon, while i spend it all on my trip. hah, no, but really, i get sad whenever we are away from each other for even just one night, you can imagine how i feel since it'll be more than just one night. i wish he were coming with us. but, like i said before, i'm excited to see my family and for them to see ava! some of them haven't even met her yet!wish me luck on the plane... last year, she was still young and i was able to nurse her the whole plane ride, now she's older and i don't know what i'm going to do when 30 minutes into the flight she's tired of sitting and ready to run up and down the aisle. would it be considered child abuse if i found some way to tranquilize her? i'm kidding of course... but really, any advice? we'll see how it goes.

have so much fun on your vacation. you're so cute how much you said you are going to miss Bryce. what a good wifey you are. i would suggest benydryl. it worked for me. i fly all the time and it works for jack. try it before you go during a naptime and see if it makes her more hiper or tired. good luck.
I've heard benadryl too. I'm going to use it with Sophie next weekend when we fly. They only have children's benedryl, not baby's. I got advice to use 1/2 a tsp when we board for Sophie, but I don't know if that'd increase for Ava.
I use benadryl it hypes kaylee up and nocks taylor out...a half dose. I am sure you know this but stick something in her mouth to land and the flight to denver? my kids have always been able to sit through that hopefully your flight is not full and you can put her in her own I always check that and if it is not full I take my carseat and attempt to take it on talk to the gate people and then she might get her own seat that really helps good luck!
