the other day i was going through ava's closet and drawers to put away more of her outgrown clothes. as i was doing this, i realized that the past few times that i had done this, i continued to keep an outfit in the mix. she hasn't seemed to outgrow it yet. it's labeled 12-18 months, but it fit ava alright when she was just 6 months old! ava was a chubby little baby and since she's been walking she has definitely plateaued. however, she has outgrown outfit after outfit except this one. it seems to grow with her.

weird, huh? granted that the shirt is a little more snug on her and the gauchos are a little bit shorter but everything still fits pretty well. i don't think it's going to fit for too much longer, but we certainly got great use out of it!
after seeing these pictures, i am so amazed at how much she's grown in one year. she has learned and changed so much, she seems like an entirely different person! what will she be like next year?

okay, so ava is the prettiest girl i have ever seen. we sure do make a good baby.
I love her outfit. She looks so cute last year and now. How fun it must be to have a little girl to dress up in your style but baby sizes. I can't wait... actually I can. I think you guys should get busy and make a boy since you do such a good job making girls!

diana, ava looks so grown up in those last pics. it kinda makes me sad that her and owen are little kids now, not babies. oh well, i guess that's why we have more. so we can trade the old ones in for the new ones.
