why is it that my home starts out looking like this....
and ends up looking like this?
ava has really started getting into everything! it started out slow and now as i walk around my house, i've realized that it has gotten so much worse, as i trip on not only toys but kitchen utensils, dvds, shoes, brushes, clothes and other various items from drawers and closets. you'll notice in the above pic that there is a random white spoon laying by my couch. the other day i captured the culprit in the act.
i'll admit that it kinda brings a smile to my face.

so cute Diana! I love this post! This is my life everyday when Jack and I get into playing. Ava is adorable. I love her eyes peeking over the edge.
I read in one of my parenting books that this makes babies/little ones feel productive. for some reason that made me feel so much better about the messes. like they served a purpose and the messy house ment I was a GOOD mom. I still enjoy a clutter free home, but at least I can reduce my daily cleanup to nap time and bed time, and not go crazy following her around all day. man your kid is CUTE.
