baby ava designs

as most of you know, a little over a year ago, i started my own small business making baby items. i made a pair of flip-flops for ava with no intention of selling them, but after being stopped by so many strangers around town, asking me where i had purchased them, i realized that there was an actual market for these and decided to start baby ava designs. i started making not only flip-flops, but headbands, burp cloths, blankets, changing pads, wipey cases, and lots more experimental items! i have now sold over a hundred items not only here in arizona, but across the united states from california to massachusetts and even to canada. my flip-flops are also being sold in a boutique on the east coast.

luckily, i haven't been too overwhelmed with things, for my sales are fairly steady, just how i like it. a couple of weeks ago i was contacted by a lady who runs an e-magazine... the mommy times. they had seen my flip-flops and wanted a press sample of them to check out and possibly feature in their magazine. i sent off the sample and didn't hear anything from them until about a week ago. they decided that they wanted to feature them in their latest craving section. you can check them out here, you'll see them on their front page, and you can click on them to read the small blurb about them. i just wanted to share this tidbit with you all. exciting, huh? i am now in the process of a few new items. i'm working on new hair accessories as well as toddler purses, now if i can just find the time to actually put them up on my site and in my etsy store...

congrats you. I can see it now, Diana on Oprah, as a mommy mogul. You will be wearing something fabulous and make Oprah laugh at least twice. She will say "I LOVE THEEEEEEESSSE" and throw her hands in the air. It's beautiful Diana. Just beautiful.

Cute, cute, cute! I love everything. You are talented! So good to hear from you. I remember when you were pregnant and how crappy you felt. Not fun. I'm hoping mine will end soon, but thankfully it's not too horrible. Good luck with your business and keep in touch. Amanda
