christmas oh eight

santa baby.

you know when you have so much to blog 'bout that you just don't want to sit down and do it, so you put it off and finally force yourself to type out something to at least keep some sort of record?

well, that's what i've been doing.

we had a great christmas.... and a not so great christmas eve...

[i began typing out the fiasco at bryce's work and then decided to spare you all the details. looking back, weeks later, i've realized that it didn't matter and everything worked out alright. we still were able to have a happy christmas together. so i'll skip ahead to the good stuff.]

i'm not sure if ava really understood the concept of santa or that we were celebrating the birth of jesus, but it was still so fun to see the young joy and innocence in her eyes as the magic of christmas came alive for her.

she loved her gifts... her favorites being the art desk from her daddy, and the doctor kit from me. the most anti-climatic responses to gifts that we thought were sure to be big hits, were the cupcake from santa (ava repeatedly asked santa for a cupcake), and the brand new cinderella dvd, which might i add, is now in the vault and not so easy for santa to get.

emaline just enjoyed eating all the paper she could get her hands on. the girl is not hard to please.

she was also sporting some fantastic christmas bed head.
i bought bryce a few small things as well as a bluetooth for work and his very own two-room tent along with a promise that i would go with him... when it got warmer.

as for myself, i finally got what i've been wanting for the past few years...

a bike with a trailer for the kiddos.
you have no idea how out of control my coolness meter goes when that orange flag is flapping in the wind behind me. it's totally hip.

needless to say, we have certainly been loving it...
who wants to go for a ride?!

that is sweet. i've been begging cody to get a tandum bike forever. teppei can sit in the basket, i can ring the bell from the back while cody pedals, and emmi can chill in the trailer. a whole family affair. think, fhe would be taken care of so easily.

glad you had a merry christmas. that emaline's hair is too awesome. she seriously still has more than emmi...

Yes I know the feeling of having too much to blog about that you keep delaying it...

What a fun Christmas you guys had! Emaline looks so cute in her little Santa outfit.

your going to love the trailer!
please love it. don't leave it in the garage alone like so many other poor trailers are.
if you can drive in under 5 min you should ride your bike.
i love it, so much better than strapping the kids in the car. no one will steal it at bashas either. knock on wood
