bryce and i decided to go out tonight for valentine's day instead of thursday for two reasons: to beat the valentine crowd and because getting a sitter on v-day is difficult. so, last night after dinner, we decided to take a family trip to the
temple visitor's center to see the new
reflections of christ documentary. it was a sweet way to spend our valentine's day together as a family,
despite the fact that on the way home i wanted to rip my hair out from my over-tired, naughty, crazy loud child. if you haven't seen it, i say go check it out.
mark mabry was our photographer for our wedding and it's amazing to see how much he has learned and how his skills have evolved making him quite the remarkable photographer. i seriously want to squeeze back into my wedding dress, call up mark and get pictures re-taken.
a couple weeks ago we had the opportunity to get a few family shots taken at a family reunion by
jill. we hardly get family pictures taken because i'm usually the one holding the camera so it was nice to get a few done, despite the desert landscaping
(i've lived here for too long to appreciate the desert's beauty) and not my choice outfits
(we were all asked to wear blue, do you know how difficult it is to find a blue toddler girl shirt? she ended up wearing a boy one.) thank you jill, for giving me something to replace our old family photo on the wall.

I love these pictures! I used to feel the same way about the desert, but I actually can appreciate the beauty of it now!
We went to the Reflections of Christ last night for family night, I thought it was very moving and powerful.
I really like your family pictures. We really need to get some taken of us. We've never gotten a family picture taken. Now that's sad.
