what? three months already? you've gotta be kidding me!
it's hard to believe that three months have already passed. time passes super fast when you have kids.
em is sleeping a beautiful 12 hours a night and napping like a champ. she's so tolerant of ava's sticker and toy decorating as well as her "unintentional" eye pokes and face scratches... we're working on this one, emaline. emaline has been pretty strong since birth so she holds her head and body up very well. her hair is thinning out a little, but she still has plenty of it. in fact, i've even been able to put clips in it! (ava was over a year old before i could even think of putting a clip in her hair.)
she's really such a happy little baby. she wakes up very peacefully, cooing and sometimes smiling.
she smiles so easily, and has even begun to laugh. i can already tell that she's going to be a daddy's girl, she laughs and smiles the most for daddy and ava. i love to see ava playing nicely with emaline. whenever emaline smiles, ava happily exclaims, "she smile you!" (we're always telling ava, "look she's smiling at you!") lately, ava has been asking to hold her a lot, something she lost interest in about a month after her birth.

she's also been insistent on sharing her blanket with her as well.

the other day, emaline started to cry a little and ava immediately hugged her and said, "it's okay 'aline, daddy's coming." i love to see her so caring and protective of her sister. i had no idea how much joy that would bring me.

holy moley - she's huge!! i can't believe how much she's changed in a month. esp. w/the pictures of ava holding her... she is such a doll. i'm dying to squoosh those cheeks.
(initially i typed "holy cow - she's huge!!" but i didn't mean it that way, and i didn't want to sound like i meant it that way. so i switched it to moley, which is funnier anyway.)
that first pic is priceless.
i'm excited for all the future pics on your newly laid sod. (you know you're already thinking about the picture ops.)
they do grow up way to fast...
both are too cute!
i'm still amazed at how emaline just chilled while balls were flying past her head, and how she smiled when it hit her. haha.
happy anniversary by the way.
Your girls are so beautiful! I love Emaline's hair. Is it me or is she staring to look a little like Ava?
Are you still making bows? Because if you are, I have a hefty order to place.
I love the wide-eyed picture at top. She is getting so big! I never can get over how adorable your girls are.
I cannot believe 12 hours a night....wow! Give me advice, I am hoping for an early on great sleeper too! Both the others had a hard time early on but are champs now!
I cannot believe that she is that old already! She look so much like Ava, especially in that 2nd picture!
