first of all, thank you for all the wonderful comments left on my last post. it's great to know that you all understand me and that my feelings are normal!
well somehow i survived another busy whirlwind weekend! we had another skills day/super saturday this past weekend so i have been keeping busy organizing that. our relief society has decided to do these on a smaller scale than last time, but a couple times a year instead. needless to say that it was still a lot of work and with the wonderful help of a few sisters from my ward, (nicole, jamie and ashlyn just to name a few), it turned out to be a successful event.
while i'm doing some shout-outs, i'd especially like to give praise to my wonderful husband who not only supports me in my calling but also took care of ava and my friend nicole's little girl ruby so that we could focus on making this day run smoothly. when he found out that her husband was going to be out of town, he was not the least bit hesitant to offer his help. i know that not many husbands would do that. upon our return the girls were happy, safe, fed and the house wasn't a complete disaster either! bryce, you get a rockin' husband award. i'm not sure what that entails, but you get it. maybe i'll print you out a certificate to make it official.
so what were we busy working on at our skills day, you ask?
needless to say, by the end my back and feet were killing, and i was absolutely exhausted. it's amazing how much this can take out of a pregnant woman! not only that, but then we had a birthday party to head off to later that evening. it's so nice to finally have it all behind me, i'm taking it easy the next few days for sure!

It looked super fun, you did good! I wish I could've stayed but I had like 5 things all scheduled that morning. Hopefuly I actually do the magnet board and it doesn't sit in my garage forever.
sometimes the best part of putting these things together is having them be done. (i mean that in the most unbitter way.)
now off to sewing!
I love projects! I love them even more when I complete them! My husband says i'm not allowed to buy anymore stuff until i'm done with all my projects that I've started...
I haven't visited your blog in forever and I haven't even updated mine in forever!
You are lookin so cute all pregnant! Yay for almost being done!!!
Emily asked me awhile if you were doing this "skills day" I told her I doubted it because you were so close to being done! But I was wrong! Looks like it was great, very cute things!
It was fabulous! I am going to miss these with this ward! I am going to miss this ward! Oh shoot, I didn't mean for this to turn into a sob story of me missing the ward......anyway. The day was great! Thank you!
is it mean to say i'm glad i'm not you? (or at least...i'm glad i don't have that calling.)
another skills day down...and hopefully no more to come! ha ha ha. really anything is fun if we get to do it together...even the family fun van!
I am so grateful to Bryce for being so kind as to watch Ruby for me. He is a wonderful person, and I know that I couldn't have stayed the whole time if I had to worry about taking care of her.
I feel bad that he had to change her poopy diaper though. :)
