recovered!

bryce was finally safely returned to his family on saturday night at 9pm! thank goodness.

on friday, bryce had to pull an all-nighter for work and worked from 4pm-4am! what could he possibly be doing at those hours of the night, you ask? what else than shuttling people to and from a porn conference to a hotel. what a perfect activity to prepare him for conference. anyways, i had called my friends rhonda and lindsay earlier that day to see if they wanted to come keep me company that night but it didn't work out, so in order to keep myself entertained, ava and i headed to ross. i found some cute things for my house, a shirt for myself and a book for ava. she was on her best behavior, the entire shopping trip! i came home, put ava to bed and then laid on the couch and watched tv the rest of the night. it was quite boring.

i have a really difficult time going to bed without bryce. when he has homework that he has to stay up late for, i always stay up with him and whenever he's gone somewhere overnight i never sleep well. is anyone else like this? needless to say, i couldn't sleep very well that night. by the time bryce came home from work it was 5am!

saturday, bryce obviously slept in. unfortunately, he had to be at work at noon so he couldn't get a full 8 hours of sleep. he woke up, watched a little bit of conference then got ready and headed out the door.

ava and i spent the rest of the day around the house. i was lonely and bored so i kept myself busy around the house and in the afternoon i called my friend sarah and talked to her for a good hour and a half. we always have good long conversations, i'm so glad i have such good friends to save me!

that night i was invited to dinner and catan over at another friends house. ava had thrown me off the whole day by sleeping for 4 hours during her morning nap, so she wasn't in the best mood by late afternoon. i couldn't decide whether or not i should go, eventually i decided that bad mood or not, i needed to get out of the house and socialize some, so off we went.

by this time bryce had finished working and was heading straight to the last hour of conference. a couple of hours over at sarah's (different sarah from above), and ava was done and ready for bed. i came home got her ready, sent bryce a pic message of his daughter he hadn't seen for more than 10 minutes that day and tucked her in.

every conference after priesthood, bryce's dad takes all of his sons out to dinner, so bryce was out with him until 8pm and then ended up talking with his brother luke for another 45 minutes or so. he finally came home around 9pm!

i'm getting so tired of his new job already, i'm trying to stay positive. at least we had all day sunday together, right? i'm finished complaining now. how was your weekend?
