i sewed all new curtains for the kitchen and angled my table, which surprisingly opened up the room quite a bit!
total cost for kitchen project: $20 for fabric and materials
i wasn't planning on doing anything with the laundry room. it wasn't on the top of the list, (although it probably should've been) but i had an idea so i went for it.

much neater, don't ya think? it's amazing what a big difference a small change can make.
total cost for laundry room boost: $5 for fabric (hooray for clearance fabric!), $0 for wall decor (small green shutter), i just moved it from another room and painted it.
my "biggest" project (it's really not that big) is my family room, which is still not done yet. i'm working on a few finishing touches, so stay tuned!

Wow! I am so impressed! What a huge difference. I think my laundry room could really use the same treatment.
I agree with Robin. I just may copy that laundry room curtain. Is it just hung on a wire?
abbie, it's hung on a spring rod.
your so domestic...
You did such a good job Diana! I love what you did. The joys of being in a home with a laundry room. I'm so jealous. I'd be a happier person if I had laundry handy.
