sales, showers and dates, oh my!

saturday was quite busy. bryce headed to work at 8am while i struggled to get ava ready. i needed to be out of the house by 8 and she was definitely on one. i honestly think she was going through daddy withdrawals because whenever bryce walked in the room she was fine. when he left the room she would throw herself on the ground and cry. it was so weird. after struggling with her for about 45 minutes, she was finally fed and dressed. i packed her diaper bag and headed to my parents. on my way there i stopped at my friend sarah's mom's house. they were having a garage sale and i told her i would stop by and check it out. i picked up a few things and chatted a little with her, then headed to my parents house. i dropped ava off with them then headed to another yard sale... my friend lindsay had told me about this sale they were having and i told her i'd come by and check it out. i bought an awesome candle pillar holder and something for my kitchen as well. i absolutely love garage sales and i passed by so many sales that i couldn't stop at, i was so depressed. i needed to be at my friend elee's mom's house by 10 to set up for my friend paige's bridal shower. everything turned out well and it was nice to catch up with everyone there. i was taking pictures for paige so i didn't take many pictures on my camera. at the very end i managed to get a few pictures with friends.

after the shower/party i headed back to my parents to pick up ava. my parents treated me out to lunch... first, they babysit my baby all morning on their day off and then they treat me out to lunch, what a treat! when i finally did get home, i was exhausted!

that night bryce came home around 6pm! i was so excited that he was actually home early on a weekend! he called up his mom and asked if she could babysit for a few hours while he took me out for dinner. we both weren't terribly hungry so we headed to buffalo wild wings.

after dinner, instead of relaxing and enjoying our alone time we headed to target for diapers and to the store for groceries. what can we say, things needed to be done. i enjoyed spending time with bryce although we were out running errands. i hope he doesn't have to work late next weekend so we can go to a movie or something... i don't remember the last time that we watched a movie in an actual movie theatre.

bryce was released from his elder's quorum calling last week because the president is moving. he hasn't had a new calling given to him yet, so it's kinda nice to have him all to myself on sunday with no meetings or responsibilities. i'm enjoying it while it lasts. finals start at the end of this week, so he'll be busy studying and then graduation is next week! hooray for bryce!
